\n\t\t\t\t\n\tThe NOAC Chair, Michael McCarthy, along with its board members, announced the publication of the NOAC Annual Report for the year 2025. Since its inception in 2014, NOAC has been a cornerstone of the local government sector, providing independent and rigorous oversight and has published over 80 reports, covering a vast array of topics such as Internal Audit, Customer Satisfaction, Finance, Corporate Plans, Housing Maintenance and Shared Services. Throughout 2025, NOAC continued to advance its mandate through a comprehensive programme of work that strengthened transparency, accountability, and performance within the local government sector.<\/p>\n
The NOAC Chair stated that “NOAC is committed to the rigorous, independent oversight of the local government sector and this was evident by the exemplary work carried out throughout 2025.” He highlighted achievements such as “an enhanced Performance Indicator Report, the comprehensive review of corporate plans, the in-depth analysis of five local authorities through our enhanced Scrutiny Process and the successful hosting of the Good Practice Seminar and a series of workshops focused on continuous improvement.”<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
